WILDLAND PROTECTION

by Caspar Wijngaard

Inspired by Wildland Protection & Restoration, this illustration by comic artist Caspar Wijngaard depicts a powerful tree with a lotus flower-shaped crown, its roots twisting into a coral reef and then fanning out into grassland. Wildlife, people, and Miyazaki-inspired kodama enjoy the protected space beneath a sunset casting over a solarpunk city. Holy F**k!

All proceeds from donations received for this print will go to the John Muir Trust. They are dedicated to the conservation, protection and restoration of the UK's wild places, for the benefit of all. Over 60,000 acres are cared for by the trust. ELECTRIFY

Electric Vehicles

by Rafa Orrico Díez

Reminiscent of the gritty, photo-copied cover of an 80’s fanzine, Spanish graphic designer Rafa Orrico’s work is colorful and raw. To create this print inspired by Electric Vehicles he used a charging plug, a contrast of colors linked to electricity, and a wheel as the perfect representative element of a car. The result is a powerful composition conveying the classic strength of electrification.

All proceeds from donations received for this print will go to ReWiring America, a nonprofit focused on widespread electrification as a means of fighting climate change, creating jobs, and making our air cleaner. Rafa wanted to add an engineer to the print & so we decided to use one of our favorite activists in the role, the founder and chief scientist at Rewiring America Saul Griffith. That’s Saul on the tire!
